Principal's Corner

Welcome Vogel Families to another great year of learning at Vogel Elementary School.  My name is Brian Baumeyer and I am proud to serve as Principal of Vogel. I reside in Evansville with my beautiful wife, and adorable daughter and son.  We also have a moody cat named Socks. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Southern Indiana. In addition, I received my Master’s in School Administration and Supervision from Indiana State University.  I have had the opportunity to serve the students of EVSC in the past through EVSC after-school daycare, teaching at Stockwell Elementary, and as Principal Intern for both Oak Hill and Stockwell Elementary. I am excited to be a part of the Vogel family, and look forward to working with you and your children this year!

At Vogel we still follow our R.O.C.K. expectations: Respectful, On-Task, Cooperative, and Kind.  These qualities help us to be Cardinals-with-Character.  Between these opportunities and the experiences the classroom teachers provide our students, we are excited for our students to ROCK this year!  Thank you for all you do to support your child and our school!

Sincerely,

Brian Baumeyer

At Vogel we still follow our R.O.C.K. expectations: Respectful, On-Task, Cooperative, and Kind.  These qualities help us to be Cardinals-with-Character. We are able to offer a 25-30 minute recess each day, provided by the homeroom teachers. This also provides the students with a lunch period that allows them to eat for half of the period, then receive an additional brain-break for the other half of the period. Between these opportunities and the experiences the classroom teachers provide our students, we are excited for our students to ROCK this year!  Thank you for all you do to support your child and our school!
